About

Traceability shouldn't require an ERP.

LotThread exists because most growing food & beverage producers manage lot records the same way: a receiving log in one spreadsheet, batch sheets on paper, shipping records in the invoicing tool, and a silent prayer that nobody ever asks them to connect the three in a hurry. The tools that do connect them are manufacturing ERPs — priced, sized, and implemented for companies ten times larger.

So we built the middle: one focused product that follows every lot from receiving through production to shipment, keeps an append-only audit ledger of who did what and why, and answers the recall question — "where did it go?" — in seconds instead of a weekend. Nothing else. No accounting, no MRP, no twelve-month implementation.

What we believe

  • Records you can trust are records you can't quietly rewrite. Corrections are new entries, never edits.
  • The person at the receiving dock is the real user. If capture isn't fast on a phone or a scanner gun, it won't happen.
  • Your data is yours. Export everything, any time, in open formats — and delete it permanently when you ask.
  • Start small. One product, one supplier, one batch is a fine first day.
